Environmental issues play a central role in all of JM-Valu Oy's operations, because clean nature is particularly important to all of us. In all production stages, the environmental impact of production should be taken into account. At JM-Valu, we want to do our part to take care of the purity of nature, paying special attention to the environmental friendliness of our production, and we bear our own responsibility for a cleaner tomorrow.
By recycling, reusing and utilizing materials, we can save natural resources. At the same time, we reduce energy consumption and the amount of waste, and their harmful environmental effects. JM-Valu Oy's operating philosophy is to utilize materials as efficiently as possible without unnecessarily burdening nature.
Each of us can influence the well-being of the environment with our own choices.

JM-Valu Oy's products are manufactured in accordance with quality and environmental system control, which meets ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements and is certified by Bureau Veritas Certification with certificate number: FIHSK8898372AB.
We recycle all metal shavings generated in our production
Almost all cast products require machining after casting. The metal shavings produced during machining contain a lot of cutting fluid. Machining chips as such cannot be put to good use / remelted, because during the melting process, the chips react with air and mostly turn into slag - thus not a usable raw material. - For this reason, the waste of material would be really big. Due to the cutting fluids contained in machining chips, melting untreated chips also pollutes the environment.
Thanks to our own briquetting equipment, the chipping liquid bound to the chips during machining can be separated and thus also put to good use. The chipping fluids move from the briquetting equipment back to the chipping fluid tanks of the machine tools and return directly back to production. Remelting briquetted chips also requires less energy than melting untreated chips.
Our own briquetting equipment makes it possible that the chips do not have to be transported by road for further processing, but the processing of the chips takes place as part of our own production process. Our briquetted chips immediately circulate back to the melting furnaces to be melted.
The recycling rate of the raw materials we use is over 90 %.
